The Morpheus8 procedure
The length of a Morpheus8 treatment depends on the area(s) being treated, but you can typically expect to spend 30-60 minutes in the chair. Dr. Corriea will apply a numbing cream and administer Pro-Nox (an inhaled sedative) if requested by the patient. A small, handheld device is used to treat the targeted area. It’s common for patients to feel some discomfort during the procedure, so we highly recommend Pro-Nox for added comfort!

Recovery and post-treatment care
Dr. Correia will carefully go over all post-procedure care and expectations. Morpheus8 is famous for minimal downtime. In fact, patients can resume most normal activities soon after the procedure! But it’s essential to follow the post-treatment instructions to ensure a smooth and quick recovery.
As for recovery, most patients will experience redness for 1-3 days and may have mild to moderate swelling during that time, as well. Many patients describe a “sunburn sensation” for a few days after the treatment along with some peeling or crusting as the skin heals and repairs itself.

Morpheus8 provides long-lasting results that improve with time (yes, really!). Patients typically notice an improvement in skin texture, tone, and firmness within about 3 weeks, or even sooner!
